About Us
Who We Are
Sarah’s Home is a non-profit organization committed to providing a safe and nurturing refuge for women who have survived abuse. Our unique focus is on supporting women without children, offering a welcoming environment where they can find community, empowerment, and resources to help them rebuild and thrive. Through compassionate guidance and practical support, we strive to create a place of healing and transformation for every woman who walks through our doors.
Our Story
Sarah’s Home was founded by Valerie Thomas, a dedicated advocate and survivor who understands the profound impact of trauma and the courage it takes to rebuild. After her own journey to overcome abuse, Valerie recognized the urgent need for supportive spaces specifically tailored for women without children. Driven by her personal experience and her commitment to uplifting other women, Valerie launched Sarah’s Home as a sanctuary for women to find peace, support, and empowerment as they journey toward new beginnings.
